            Belgian    Citation

The battalion received its fourth honorary distinction for the whole of the campaign in Korea. This entitled the lanyard with the colors of the Order of Leopold to be affixed to the colors.

To all those present and the future. Hail!
Acting on the proposal of our Minister of National Defense, we have decided and decide as follows :

Art. 1 : The Volunteer Corps for Korea is mentioned in the daily Order of the Armee for :

 " During the campaign in Korea from 31 January till the cease fire on 27 July 1953, in a country that by its nature and a very rude climate made for very difficult circumstances. confronted by a fanatical enemy, the Volunteer Corps for Korea has been at the front of the offensive and defensive operations during the major part of the campaign;
During its long stay in line, its aggressively during the continuous combat patrols in enemy lines, its speed in helping neighboring units and its solidarity under all circumstances, have gained the respect and confidence of all the allied units

" In the bosom of the UNITED NATIONS, the VOLUNTEER CORPS for KOREA HAS BROUGHT HONOR INTO THE ARMY AND THE NATION DURING THIS PERIOD.
